What is Cox Campus?
Cox Campus is a free learning portal designed to distill the science of reading into simple actions adults can take when interacting with children. Cox Campus’s free interactive courses and engaging, comprehensive tools translate language and literacy research into simple, effective, and immediately applicable practices.
These tools are designed to equip any adult interacting with children—from birth through age nine—to do so in ways that support language and literacy development. From nurses to families to educators to leaders, Cox Campus provides straightforward learning paths to understanding the science and skills needed to cultivate environments, relationships, and practices conducive to learning to read.

How much does it cost to take a Cox Campus course?
All of the Cox Campus courses and resources are free! As a result of the generosity of the Cox Foundation and grant funding, as well as partnerships with over 100 organizations, we are able to ensure that Cox Campus is and will remain 100% free, providing universal, online access to research-based language and literacy courses and resources.

Can I use Cox Campus for my Professional Development (PD)?
Yes! We believe everyone can benefit from the content on Cox Campus. For those seeking more formal recognition of their development, our Cox Campus courses are certified* by the following organizations:
- Bright From the Start – a program of the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL)
- The Alabama ECE
- International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET)
All members will receive a training certificate including accreditation and applicable continuing education units (CEUs) immediately after completing a course. Please check with your relevant program administrator with further questions to see if Cox Campus training qualifies for your license or certification renewal.
*Note: Only courses with listed CEUs and/or accreditation are eligible for certified credit.
How can I retrieve my earned CEUs and other certified credits?
You can find all your earned certifications under the CERTIFICATES tab at the top of Cox Campus. On that page you’ll find a list of all the courses you have completed, including any related assessments. Upon clicking to view your certificate for the first time, you may be asked to complete some additional information for your profile so that your certificate can be properly formatted. You may return at any time to retrieve a copy of your certificates. See a sample certificate below.
